Ploughman’s Cottage

Ploughman’s Cottage is a characterful three-bedroom retreat for up to five guests, full of charm and historic features. One of the oldest cottages in the hamlet, it has a wonderfully warm atmosphere, with teal and mustard tones adding richness and depth to its inviting interiors.

Step inside and you’re welcomed straight into a generous open-plan living and dining space, perfect for gathering together after a day out exploring. A well-equipped kitchen sits just off the main room, making it easy to enjoy relaxed meals at home. The cottage is cleverly arranged for comfort and privacy. Downstairs, a spacious super-king bedroom (which can also be set up as twins) comes with its own en-suite shower room. Upstairs, you’ll find a bright king room and a cosy single room, both sharing a family bathroom with bath. Out the back, a private garden offers plenty of space for lounging, dining, and enjoying the fresh air. For something truly special, you can also slip into the outdoor Japanese wood-fired bath, the perfect way to unwind under the sky.

As with all our cottages, you’ll also have access to the site’s facilities: swim in the outdoor pool, unwind in the sauna, stretch in the studio, or get creative in the workshop. And with South East Cornwall’s beaches, coastal walks, villages and incredible food just a short drive away, Ploughman’s makes a perfect base for your stay.
