The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is the original homestead of the hamlet – a cosy three-bedroom cottage brimming with charm and character. With its warm, lived-in feel, it offers a traditional and timeless escape, perfect for families or groups looking for a home with history and heart. Inside, the ground floor is centred around a spacious living room with a big wood-burning stove. The kitchen, with its large dining table at the heart, is made for slow breakfasts, family suppers, and long evenings chatting over good food.

Upstairs, you’ll find three characterful bedrooms: a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a flexible second room that can be set as a super-king or twins, and a third bedroom with bunk beds. The family bathroom is downstairs and includes a shower over bath. Outside, the private garden feels like a little sanctuary, with space to dine, relax, and enjoy the fresh air. For something truly special, you can slip into the Japanese wood-fired bath.

As with all our cottages, guests also have use of the site’s facilities: swim in the outdoor pool, relax in the sauna, stretch in the studio, or get creative in the workshop. And when you’re ready to explore, South East Cornwall’s beaches, coastal walks, villages, and amazing food are all just a short drive away.
