Carpenter’s Cottage

Carpenter’s Cottage is a stylish two-storey retreat within our private hamlet, designed with earthy tones and full of character. One of its most distinctive features is the striking wallpaper that climbs the wall from the living area up to the bedroom, creating a sense of flow and a playful, design-led feel. Downstairs, the cosy living room centres around an adorable built-in sofa and the kitchen-diner features the original dining chairs, with a black-and-white photo on the wall showing them being used in years gone by – a lovely nod to the cottage’s story. Upstairs, the bright bedroom continues the stylish palette, with a super-king bed that can also be arranged as twins if needed. The bathroom includes a shower over bath, giving you flexibility whether you’re after a quick refresh or a long soak. Outside, there’s a little seating area with fire pit, ideal for morning coffee or evenings under the stars.

Guests also have use of the on-site facilities – enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool, unwind in the sauna, stretch out in the studio, or get creative in the workshop. And with South East Cornwall’s beaches, coastal walks, villages and incredible food all close by, Carpenter’s Cottage makes the perfect base for your stay.
